Ralf W. Dieter, former CEO of Dürr AG, to become new member of TeamViewer’s Supervisory Board

Goppingen, Germany - August 25, 2022 - TeamViewer AG, a leading global provider of remote connectivity and workplace digitalization solutions, today announced changes to its Supervisory Board. The company's Nomination and Remuneration Committee has proposed Mr. Ralf W. Dieter as a new member of the Supervisory Board. Subject to his appointment by the court, Dieter will succeed Jacob Fonnesbech Aqraou, who after consultation with the Supervisory Board in July 2022 had announced his resignation from his position as member and Deputy Chairman of the Supervisory Board for personal reasons with effect from August 22nd, 2022. Dieter, the former CEO of Dürr AG, brings further management and digitalization expertise to the company. In this context, the Supervisory Board intends to elect Dieter as Deputy Chairman and appoint him to the Audit Committee and the Nomination and Remuneration Committee.

Ralf W. Dieter is an internationally experienced manager who served as CEO of Dürr AG for 16 years, a globally operating mechanical and plant engineering firm. He started his career at the IT consulting company DAT and joined IBM a few years later. There he first became Head of Sales for Germany and Central Europe and later Sales Director of the European Headquarters based in Paris. From there, he moved to Carl Zeiss Industrielle Messtechnik GmbH, where he was Chairman of the Management Board. He subsequently held the position of Chairman of the Management Board at Carl Schenk AG in Darmstadt, a subsidiary of Dürr AG, before being appointed Member of the Management Board and later Chairman of the Management Board at Dürr AG. Ralf W. Dieter is currently an Entrepreneur and Managing Partner of RWD Vermögens- und Beteiligungsgesellschaft mbH. He is also a member of the Supervisory Boards of Körber AG and Schuler Group GmbH. In addition, he serves as Chairman of the Advisory Council of ADAMOS GmbH, a central multi-vendor industrial marketplace for digital products and digital business models.

"We are very pleased to welcome Mr. Dieter as a new member of TeamViewer's Supervisory Board. He is an experienced manager and proven tech expert who, as CEO, led an international mechanical engineering company to great success. In doing so, he focused on the digitalization of the company with his deep IT knowledge. As a result, Mr. Dieter has a strong understanding of the needs of TeamViewer's customers, especially in the growth area of Enterprise OT and the digitalization of work processes for industrial workers," said Abraham (Abe) Peled, Chairman of TeamViewer's Supervisory Board. "On behalf of the Supervisory Board, shareholders and TeamViewer's senior leadership team, I would also like to thank Jacob Fonnesbech Aqraou for his effective and dedicated service as Deputy Chairman of the Supervisory Board. We wish him all the best for the future."

Ralf W. Dieter said: "As former CEO of Dürr AG, I know how important digitalization is outside the traditional office environment. In the production and manufacturing of industrial companies, for example, employees today have only limited access to digital tools despite advancing digitalization. I am looking forward to the exciting task as Member of the Supervisory Board at TeamViewer and would like to contribute my expertise as an executive of an industrial company, entrepreneur and investor."

Ralf W. Dieter will be proposed to the competent court for appointment as a member of TeamViewer’s Supervisory Board. His appointment shall be formally confirmed by TeamViewer’s shareholders as part of the 2023 Annual General Meeting.
